GATEway is the Rochester Chapter of the Minnesota 
Council for the Gifted and Talented,
a statewide not-for-profit organization that advocates for educational services for gifted 
and talented students.

Become a fan by "liking" us to receive news about issues and events through Facebook. Get the news a little more frequently, but in a shorter format and in a more timely fashion.

Emails will still go out as usual, when there is a pressing need for advocacy, and for occasional mini-newsletters with event news and progress reports.

1. Come experience the RAD Zoo with lizards, snakes, turtles and more! You are invited to join us for our Family Program and Annual Meeting Saturday, May 12 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM in Northrop Community Ed Center Room 109. All families with gifted children are welcome to attend. Free for members, $5 per family for non-members.

2.  Congratulations to all the students who participated in the 2018 GATEway Science Fair! Thank you to the sponsors, reviewers, student and adult volunteers who helped make the event a success. 3. You are invited to join us for our next Board Meeting on Wednesday, May 2nd at 6:30-8:00 PM in the Northrop Community Ed Center Room 306. The Northrop Building is located at 201 8th Street NW. You do not need to be a member to attend. Our meetings are fairly informal - feel free to come as you are able and leave when you need to. Please share with any friends you think might be interested!
