2013 Family Program and Annual Meeting -

Friday, May 10, 2013
6:00-8:00 PM
RCTC Heintz Center Commons

Your family is invited to join us at the GATEway Annual Meeting on Friday, May 10, 2013 at the RCTC Heintz Center Commons for a presentation by Mike Kalmbach on the magic of modern-day robotics.  Learn about the magic behind several familiar robots, what robots can currently do, and where robots will take humanity in the future. Students will find opportunities to explore the fascinating world of robotics and learn how engineers see the world differently. Mike has worked with students of all ages and questions are encouraged.

The program will be preceded by a brief social time.  We will have pizza available for $1 per slice.  GATEway will provide water, juice and dessert.  You can take advantage of this time to talk with GATEway board members about current district gifted policy, share ideas for summer enrichment opportunities, or just network with other GATEway families.  The social time will end with a brief election of officers for next year.

GATEway members attend free; non-members are welcome to attend for a suggested donation of $5 per family.  You may join GATEway that evening and receive the benefit of free attendance.

Please RSVP to help us plan.  Contact Dee Voldal at 285-1658 or rochestergateway@gmail.com with any questions.
