"Rochester GATEway" now on Facebook!

Become a fan by "liking" us to receive news about issues and events through Facebook. Get the news a little more frequently, but in a shorter format and in a more timely fashion.

Emails will still go out as usual, when there is a pressing need for advocacy, and for occasional mini-newsletters with event news and progress reports.

 Hot News:

1. Thank you to everyone who attended the 2020 GATEway Science Fair, either as a participant, a family member, a reviewer, or a volunteer. We also want to express our sincere appreciation to our collaborative partners and sponsors. Please support these local businesses and organizations.

We hope to see you again next year! Watch this page or the GATEway Facebook page in April or May for the announcement of the 2021 Fair date.

2. You are invited to join us for the next GATEway Board meeting in April, time and place to be posted here when determined. You do not need to be a member to attend. It is a good time to discuss current gifted education issues, hear what's new in Rochester Public Schools Gifted Services, and help plan GATEway programs. Meetings are informal - feel free to come as you can and leave when you need to. We'd love to see you there!

3. RPS Elementary Gifted Services Power Point: If you missed the Rochester Public Schools Elementary Gifted Services Parent Information night this fall or attended and want to reference the information, click HERE to view the Power Point presentation given by Monica Bowler.

4. Please consider joining GATEway. Membership adds to our voice in advocating for our gifted children here in Rochester! Don't forget that GATEway members are automatically members of MCGT. That means access to a members-only Facebook group, discounts on MCGT conferences, a subscription to the quarterly newsletter MCGT Outlook, and the opportunity to connect and network with other families across Minnesota.

6.  Use GoodSearch/GoodShop to support GATEway!
