Rochester's Chapter of the

Minnesota Council for the Gifted and Talented

Margaret Pellegrini Memorial

It is with great sadness that we learned of the passing of a long-time GATEway member and passionate gifted advocate, Margaret Pellegrini. Her family has graciously agreed that a GATEway Science Fair fund can be created in Margaret’s memory. Margaret was a past GATEway president, dedicated Science Fair volunteer, offered algebra enrichment, and was tireless in her commitment to gifted children and families. Donations can be made online through MCGT's donation page and specifying “Margaret Pellegrini memorial” in the comment field. Or checks made out to GATEway Science Fair can be mailed to GATEway, c/o Northrop Community Ed Center, 201 8th Street NW, Rochester, MN 55901.

GATEway is the Rochester Chapter of the Minnesota Council for the Gifted and Talented (MCGT), a statewide non-profit organization that advocates for educational services for gifted and talented students.

GATEway has a long history of advocating for students and supporting families in the Rochester area. Our annual GATEway Science Fair has been a fixture in the community for over 30 years. We hold other informative, social, and networking events throughout the year. Monthly meetings are open to the public. We invite you to check our calendar and join us to learn more about our advocacy.

We are a member based organization. Please consider becoming a member and supporting our mission. Your membership dues are split between GATEway and MCGT to support the work of both. See the Join page for more information.

Remember to specify GATEway as your local chapter!
